Doing the holiday shopping from school is no easy task, but I've sent away for several catalogs and I think I am actually just about set. I must admit, I'm really looking forward to going home for a little bit. I love the holidays.
What is everyone else doing over hols? Any exciting plans?

It was nice to get into Hogsmeade, wasn't it? I had a lovely time with Kevin and it was so nice to see my brother, even if the visit was very brief. Isobel has apparently gone through all her sweets, though, because she was asking me if I had any sugarquills left.
I don't, by the way, because I feel as though I've been buried in work lately and I study better if I can suck on one. I guess I should have bought more.

I've been reading this book called Pioneers of Psychology and it really is so fascinating. Who knew that Muggle science could be so interesting. There's stuff on dream interpretation way more interesting than the stuff Trelawney goes on and on about and so many other things. I wish they didn't give so much homework and I could spend a few hours just reading. I don't know when we're supposed to prepare for O.W.L.s, too, with all the work they're giving us.

Who do we know who would send chocolates and only sign the card with "W"? They were very sweet and so delicious, but I really wish I knew who to thank for them. I didn't recognize the owl, so it can't have been anyone I correspond with normally, could it have been?
I don't know. The mystery of it is driving me mad.

Happy Birthday to me!
15! I feel like I should look older or something, but I feel the same as I did yesterday. It's curious, isn't it, how we always feel there should be some great change as we grow another year older? I wonder why that is.
